Korall Lab

Our research centers on the question "What impact has long-distance dispersal in shaping the biogeography of ferns and lycopods?". In our group we use phylogenetic, historical biogeographical and phylogeographical approaches to address questions on the evolutionary history of ferns and lycopods with a focus on distribution patterns.

Our focus is today on mainly three groups: Cyatheaceae and related tree ferns, Woodsia, (cliff ferns), and Selaginellaceae (spikemosses).
